When do certificates get shorter?
- March 15, 2026
- Public certificates last 200 days at most (was 398).
- February 10, 2027
- Let's Encrypt's certificates last 64 days (was 90).
- March 15, 2027
- Public certificates last 100 days at most.
- February 16, 2028
- Let's Encrypt's certificates last 45 days.
- March 15, 2029
- Public certificates last 47 days at most.
Each limit is for certificates issued from that date; one issued before it keeps its dates.
