What is ARI?

ACME Renewal Information: the certificate authority's own suggestion of when to renew a certificate, a window of a few hours or days. ACME clients that read it renew inside that window.

When a CA has to revoke certificates early, it moves their window up, often into the past, so they get replaced before they stop working.

Let's Encrypt, Google Trust Services, Sectigo and ZeroSSL offer it. Asking needs no account: the certificate's authority key ID and serial number are enough.
